- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★The food today was great. Glad I gave them a try after not eating there for over 10 years. They renovated and the service was great.By Amanda Henderson, March 02, 2017
- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Lots of food BUT not good quality. My family has had LOTS of meals from Linn Chau and it seems as though the quality keeps going downhill. No bean sprouts in the chow mein?! Too much Chinese cabbage or Bok Choy in the vegetable dishes. Only a couple cashews in the cashew guy ding!! The rice is often dry and not very flavorful. Recently I bought their special fried rice and it was MOST disappointing. Overcooked tiny shrimp, no green onions, dry tasteless rice. Very sad. I love to support small local businesses but can't support this one anymore. I only gave it a 2 star rating instead of 1 star because of the huge amount of food they give.By Carmel Weir-Urquhart, February 08, 2017
- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I try to be as fair as possible in reviews so I am going to give you the good, the bad and the ugly. The good: My partner enjoyed his meal and had no complaints. The bad: The food I ate did not taste very good and wasn't well prepared. The ugly: I have a terrible case of food poisoning from my meal. I would give this place a miss or stick with the old standbys if you take the chance.By Anne, November 15, 2016
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I would give this place 0 stars if I had the option. Found a rolled up used paper towel in my spare ribs. Was told by the owner that it must have been used to carry a pot. Was not going to refund me until I threatened to contact public health! Disgusting! Steer clear!!By Jennifer MacNeil, October 10, 2016
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆This little "eatery" was well recommended to me. I ordered the most expensive take-out (I wanted the lemon chicken). Words cannot describe how bad this meal was. Overcooked. Dry. Tasteless. The lemon chicken? TERRIBLE. Dry chicken coated with stale crumb-coat, and... get this... a bit of warm lemon sauce dribbled over it. The lumps of chicken were not quite cool. I couldn't eat it. The vegetables were so overcooked they were mushy. I have never before had mushy vegetables in a Chinese meal. The egg rolls were mushy. WHO COOKS MUSHY EGG ROLLS? I managed a few mouthfuls before tossing the lot into the garbage. That's almost $20 of garbage, still warm. And no, the place was not busy. The phone rang three times while I waited, and I was the only client there. I should give it no stars. The place itself looked cluttered and dirty. It gets one star because the girl at the counter was friendly.By Lyn Alexander, July 23, 2016
